1. Taal Volcano and Lake

Being the second most active volcano in the Philippines. This Tagaytay tourist spot is famous for having a huge crater and hillsides that go into the lake. If you will look closer, you’ll see that within the mouth is lake and inside the lake is an island. Confusing? 2. Our Lady of Manaoag at Tierra de Maria

You don’t have to be religious to find this next attraction fascinating. This 50 feet statue of Mary, the Mother of God, is a spot where Filipinos worship and take photos for their Facebook. There is a small church temple next to the statue with a flea market collection of a Jesus statue on the cross, photos of the prophet, and twinkling Christmas lights strung about.

3. Tagaytay Picnic Grove

Carry on from the ‘Our Lady of Manaoag’ to the Picnic Grove nearby. Entrance fee for the Tagaytay Picnic Grove is only P30.00. Should you want to avail a zip line ride, try cable cars, or rent the cottages, there are separate fees that apply.

4. Twin Lakes Shopping Village

This little marketplace sits on a ridge overlooking one of the most captivating valleys that you will ever see. The Sky Eye Ferris Wheel will take you 63 meters above the ground and get a wonderful view of the area; the Sky Cruiser is a pedal bike high off the ground where riders pedal on an aerial track to get views of Taal Lake and Volcano; the zipline transfers you down a 300-meter long line high above the ground; but not only that. There are also tons of rides for kids like little pedal boats in pools and a grand carousel to keep them busy all day.

There are rides you can try and all have different rates–whether to suit the daredevil or the child in you! Entrance fees are at P80.00 from Mondays to Fridays and P100 on weekends.

6. The Sculpture Museum

Price: Php 100

Where to go in Tagaytay if you are an art enthusiast? Yoki’s Farm! This museum owned by Wilson Ong offers four attractions. One of them is the Sculpture Museum which houses interesting artifacts. Some of the most popular sculptures in this attraction include the Biggest Laughing Buddha, terracotta warriors, sculptures made of ivory, and relics. You can also find here a collection of hard-to-find souvenirs from travels abroad.

7. People’s Park in the Sky

People’s Park in the Sky only charges P30.00 for entrance fee. There are also jeepneys that you can ride for a fee and will take you to the top. Souvenir shops are also around the area so make sure to have a spare money for pasalubongs or souvenirs.

8. The Animal Farm

Do you have a heart for animals? Don’t fail to visit the Animal Farm when in Tagaytay. Located in Tagaytay Highlands, this makes a worthy stop for animal lovers and for families, especially those who are traveling with their kids. At the animal farm, you’ll have a chance to visit a petting zoo where you can immerse animals from different parts of the world.

You can have a close encounter with interesting animals for only P185.00.

9. Museo Orlina

Price: Entrance fee costs Php 100

Are you an art aficionado? If you have toured the museums in Manila, there’s another have that you need to see. Museo Orlina in Tagaytay offers awe-inspiring artworks that you’d love to see. It features glass sculptures and the masterpieces of various artists, including its owner, Ramon Orlina.

Located in Mendez, Cavite, this place will bring you close to nature with a mini zoo that will allow you to have an encounter with lovable animals!

12. Good Shepherd

Cap off your visit to Tagaytay by treating yourself with the best delicacies you’ll find in the city. And when it comes to the best pasalubongs, one spot that you shouldn’t miss is Good Shepherd.  Located at Sta. Rosa Road near the Sta.
