Travelling alone suits to everyone, no matter who you are. Just keep in mind that if you have an adventurous and courageous heart, you can go wherever you want to go!

1. CREATE A PLAN

When traveling alone you must keep yourself busy every moment. Create a plan A, B, and C as backup plan, well you must be ready just in case.

2. DO A RESEARCH

Research the country you are going to. Check out the country’s customs and cultural norms, common scams to look out for, you must be mindful of.

3. DON’T FORGET TO MAKE RESERVATIONS

Standing in long lines especially when you’re alone is quite hard, and it also hard to entertain yourself trying not to lose patience while waiting.

4. DON’T OVERPACK

Bring only the essential things that can help you better when travelling alone.

5. DON’T RUN OUT OF MONEY

Running out of money is a serious problem that you might wish you shouldn’t encounter especially when travelling solo.

6. INFORM YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS

On your trip, make sure that you have a phone which has a good working condition and you also need to bring a power bank if you have.

7. DON’T TELL STRANGERS YOU ARE ALONE

There is nothing wrong to make friends but make sure you don’t tell anybody that you are travelling alone. Some people want to take advantage of that.

8. DON’T FOCUS ON YOUR PHONE. EXPLORE!

There is a chance that your phone might be stolen especially at night where thieves are just roaming around. So stay alert!

9. BE ALERT! BE SAFE!

Be familiar with where you are and with the people around you. Observe people around you and even cars following you.

10. TAKE AMAZING PHOTOS & HAVE FUN

Make sure to capture every moment and enjoy every minute of your trip.

Traveling alone is a challenging one so make sure to keep yourself safe at all times because your family are waiting for you to back home after your trip. So stay connected to them no matter what.
